Seeking perspective and direction, Ro decides to travel back to his home country of India and relax at Samsara—a yoga and meditation resort. During his travels, he and his cousin experiment with a new pendulum they found to connect to a spirit. The pendulum, named Pendy, turns out to be more successful than they could ever imagine, altering Ro’s life in unforeseen ways.
Upon arriving at Samsara, Ro quickly makes new friends and reconnects with old ones. One particular person who catches his eye is Amrita Dey, a bold and cunning woman with stunning turquoise eyes. However, before Ro can get to know Amrita better, she is found dead. For a first novel, Murali excels, and I cannot wait to see what he creates in the future.
